Sid Meier's Ace Patrol App Reviews

Had some fun, but stopped working after updating to latest iOS. Will update my review after they fix it. The App Store tells me that the game is not compatible with my iPod.

This could have been a great game. But having to pay a dollar to revive a pilot and some minor yet irksome bugs and gameplay peculiarities make just a pretty good game. I have mixed feelings. I enjoy playing, but Im a little disappointed for the money I spent.

I really doubt how much time did Sid spend on this game. It has very good ideas, but obviously also very great potential to improve. Now it looks kind of unfinished, because the missions are repeating at some considerable rate, if not too often. Enemy types are limited, the only enemy whose shot-down gave me great great excitement was the Ace, btw, be really careful with him! I did not finish all the packs but I think the other packs are basically just repeating the British pack. So after the trial,if you like it, just pay 2K 1buck, unless you are so crazy to collect all the different paintings of planes. But note this: since this game has no save/load option(only one autosave record!! Anti-perfectionists mechanism), actually you can only collect them in your brain. So...unless youre really so crazy, dont pay 2K more than 1buck. Oh this is my first review, Im a lazy man. 2K, you forced me to do so!

I have ipod 5. Y U NO COMPATIBLE???

This game is pretty good,but the bad thing is you have to pay to continue the campaign, like you already have to pay for the kinds of skin planes, then pay to continue the game? are you serous? F##k it

Used to be an awesome game but now it crashes constantly.

I purchased this game thinking it was a complete game. It wasnt. What you purchase is a demo. Yes, you purchase a demo. You have to fork out money piecemeal afterwards to unlock the game bit by bit. No thanks!!!!

Apparently this game will not download on this type of iPad,but this is the newest iPad so it made me mad

My husband rarely uses my iPad (he is a gamer, Im a technology nerd- then a gamer heh) if he does its for games but they all lose his attention pretty fast- except this game. This one is one I have to pry from him lol. The graphics are kool & its by Sid Miers so wouldnt expect a crappy game.

I made several purchases and am ultimately unsure what I did and did not unlock. I purchased the nations triple pack, but the game is still asking for me to purchase the French campaign. I wont fall for this again.

No reasonable excuse that the game lacks a true save slot. My best campaign was semi-ruined when the app was accidentally opened. If you purchase a Sid Maier game, you expect something this obvious to be included.

Ive played this game before, and its not very fun without paying. But why is it 17+? It wasnt that violent...

The game is just what it looks like. If you like turns based strategy games I suggest you try it. I think it is pretty realistic how you can lose pilots. This way your performance on each mission affects your final success, but you dont need to win all the missions. I only wish it was not to repetitive, but i still want to finish all the campaigns.

Great game overall, when working. Whats with the bugs? Can no longer save past a single mission. Simply bounces me out of the game. Fix your bugs!

...to the original. A very unique 3D turn based combat game. Cant stop playing it. Spend the dollars, get the extra nations campaigns if you like the British one. Campaigns can be played over and over, your movements make each one different. Its actually a good visualization of ACM tactics.

Only one set of missions are free, rest is pay-for Not such a bad thing is it was stated at first, wasted my time

This is a fun game to pass the time and has some neat cell shaded graphics that run great on my iphone 4. That being said each of the Campaigns are pretty much the same unless you go German. It killed a few hours for a couple of weeks and got old very fast.
